Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, totaling 4 hours a day and 20 hours a week.
Holiday: 28 days in addition to public holidays.

Job purpose: Receptionist and administrative support.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Reception
1. Answering the telephone and directing calls to fee earners, secretaries, and staff.
2. Dealing with the public and guiding clients to waiting areas.
3. Opening and handling post each morning.
4. Preparing and dispatching post, including deliveries to the post office and town when required.
5. Purchasing office supplies such as milk and cleaning products.
6. Retrieving and distributing voicemails.
7. Using Partners for Windows as necessary.
8. Stamping date on hand-delivered post for distribution.
9. Preparing files for storage.
10. Maintaining the database.
11. Performing general reception duties.
12. Covering colleagues' tasks during holidays or sickness, such as stationery orders, booking training, and assisting as needed.
13. Handling accounting duties including petty cash, banking, card payments, and cheque recording. Participating in PCIDSS training for credit card payments.
14. Maintaining the reception and waiting area, replenishing leaflets.
Meetings
1. Setting up for Partners’ meetings, including refreshments.
2. Organizing in-house meetings with seating, refreshments, and equipment as requested.
3. Preparing rooms for client meetings with necessary arrangements.
Other Duties
1. Recording responses from client survey cards.
2. Conducting fire safety checks in colleagues' absence.
3. Performing ad hoc tasks as requested by Partners, Fee Earners, or Practice Directors.
