Day in the Role
You will support, continually improve and develop our Market Data/3rd party data services, helping business users maximise value from subscriptions. Core duties include monitoring incident and request tickets, meeting SLA’s, planning and implementing internal and vendor‑led changes, and collaborating across teams to support services end‑to‑end. You will bring a service/security‑first mindset and pursue efficiencies through AI innovation.
Responsibilities
* Monitor incident and request tickets and ensure SLA compliance
* Plan and implement changes – both internal and vendor‑led
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support end‑to‑end services
* Document issues, liaise with customers and maintain accurate records
* Participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota (including occasional weekends)
Qualifications
Minimum Criteria
* 1–2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, infrastructure or network support
* Working knowledge of Windows‑based desktop and application support in a corporate environment
* Basic understanding of IT service delivery and production support
* Clear verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
* Professional approach to users, systems and data with security awareness
* Willingness to participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rota
Essential Criteria
* At least 2 years of experience in a desktop support/infrastructure/network role
* Windows environment application/desktop support knowledge
* Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills
* Ability to plan, schedule and manage demanding workload
* Professionalism, self‑motivation and continuous improvement focus
* Confident engagement with internal customers and senior stakeholders
* Service/security‑first mindset
* Commitment to a reliable, efficient, high‑quality service
* Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management practices
* Participation in out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, occasional weekends
Desirable Criteria
* Practical knowledge of supporting and configuring Windows components in Azure via GitHub and Terraform
* Practical knowledge of creating and supporting APIs
Other Information
Employment will be subject to a National Security Vetting clearance process (typically 6‑12 weeks). The Bank is a UKVI approved sponsor with limited capacity for sponsorship.

Salary: £40,320 – £45,360 (Leeds)
