Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to join our care team in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. This is a waking night shift position providing essential support to clients during overnight hours. We welcome applications from both drivers and non-drivers, as transportation needs vary by assignment.
1. Provide personal care assistance and support to clients during overnight shifts, ensuring their comfort and dignity
2. Monitor clients' health, well-being, and safety throughout the night, responding promptly to any concerns or requests
3. Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation as needed
4. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
5. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the broader care team regarding client needs and any changes in condition
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and client interactions
7. Follow all care plans and protocols established by the care organization
8. Provide reliable and punctual service, maintaining consistent attendance for assigned shifts
9. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and respect for client autonomy and preferences
10. Optional: Provide transportation for clients to appointments or activities (for drivers)
Qualifications
11. Proven experience in caregiving, healthcare support, or related field
12. Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain alertness during night hours
13. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
14. Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
15. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
16. Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred for some positions)
17. First Aid or CPR certification (preferred)
18. Successful background check and clearance for working with vulnerable individuals
19. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
20. Flexibility and adaptability in responding to client needs
