Location: Brighton & Hove
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role - Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs
They are seeking a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their reactive maintenance team, working on the Brighton & Hove Council commercial contract. The role involves reactive repairs and occasional small-scale installations across various council-operated premises.
Responsibilities
1. Working as part of a team of 4, delivering reactive maintenance and remedial installations
2. Covering commercial properties such as libraries, town halls, public facilities, and buildings within the Pavilion estate
3. Responding to urgent repairs and maintenance requests
4. Carrying out minor electrical installations as required
5. Interfacing with council representatives and maintaining professional relationships
Requirements
* 10–15 years of experience, including apprenticeship
* Fully qualified: NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition
* Testing & Inspection certification (desirable but not essential)
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Clean DBS check
* Professional, client-facing manner with excellent communication skills
* Must live locally to Brighton
