As Duty Manager, you'll be right at the heart of that – With a passion for sport, people, and progress, we create inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive. What you’ll be doing Leading from the front - Supervising daily operations of the center including pitches, gym, bookings and café facilities. Managing a team of staff to ensure delivery of high quality customer service. Customer focus – Respond to customer enquiries, feedback, and incidents in a professional and timely manner. Teamwork – Working closely with the site General Manager and ensuring you are across all aspects of the business including Key holding duties to open and close the facility. High Quality Facilities - Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Leisure United’s operational standards. Building community – developing strong relationships with local groups, sports clubs and partners. Flexibility - The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, or work demands while maintaining a positive and productive approach. Flexibility involves being open to new ideas, taking on different tasks when needed, and adjusting to shifting team or business needs without compromising performance. Good Communication- The ability to clearly and effectively convey information, both verbally and in writing. Good communication includes active listening, giving and receiving feedback respectfully, and ensuring messages are understood by all parties. It supports teamwork, reduces misunderstandings, and enhances overall workplace efficiency. Keeping it fun but focused – a hub where work feels good, people support each other, and everyone brings their A-game. What we're looking for: Experience in a supervisory or customer service role, ideally within a leisure, sporting or hospitality background. Strong leadership and problem solving ability. Excellent communication skills with peers and customers A passion and interest in leisure and community engagement. Flexibility towards working patterns to include evenings, weekend and bank holidays.
