We are seeking a proactive and organised Helpdesk Coordinator to join a friendly and dynamic team based on the Wirral, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring the smooth coordination of helpdesk operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for all helpdesk-related enquiries via phone and email.
Log, monitor, and manage service requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where necessary.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other departments to schedule and track maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with job progress, completion, and outcomes.
Generate reports and analyse helpdesk performance metrics.
Ensure all tasks are completed in line with company SLAs and compliance standards.
Support team leaders and management with administrative and operational duties.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Previous experience in a helpdesk, facilities coordination, or customer service role
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internal ticketing/CRM systems
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
