Job Description
Due to its exceptional growth, Eurofins Central Laboratory is looking to hire a dynamic individual to join their sales team in Europe.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring new bookings targets are met for the assigned territories and services.
2. Calling upon industry experience and abilities to initiate and develop productive relationships at all levels of complex, biopharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
3. Generating new opportunities and securing new bookings (contracts) for Eurofins Central Labs, including clinical biomarkers and anti-infective services.
4. Acting as an advocate for prospects and active accounts to all key stakeholders within Eurofins.
5. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development, working closely with Scientific Affairs, Proposals/Contracts teams, and Operational Teams.
This is a remote position that could be based in any European country.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience within clinical or central laboratories, clinical trials (CRO, trial supplies/logistics, e-Clinical), or relevant B2B project service industry.
2. Proven success in securing new service contracts, demonstrating growth over your career.
3. Excellent at establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships, with a broad network of contacts.
4. Ability to set goals and develop plans affecting a group, with a focus on long-term results.
5. Hunter mentality, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
6. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong customer focus and a proactive attitude.
8. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
9. Willingness to travel for client interactions and conferences. Valid driving license.
