We are partnering with a leading London Market insurer to appoint a Security Operations Engineer into their Information Security team.
This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening security operations, enhancing tooling and processes, and protecting critical systems across both cloud and on-prem environments.
What You’ll Do
* Build, develop, and manage security operations systems
* Maintain and improve security tools, procedures, and documentation
* Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely manner
* Support cloud and on-prem security controls including firewalls, WAF, IAM, and proxies
* Lead Infrastructure as Code and DevOps security workflows
* Support vulnerability management and internal security frameworks
* Partner with internal teams and third-party security providers
* Promote security awareness and best practices across the business
What We’re Looking For
* Experience across security domains such as endpoint, network, and cloud security
* Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure services
* Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
* Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Solid Linux experience
* Understanding of Privileged Access Management best practices
