KEY STAGE 2 CLASS TEACHER POST
Nurturing and Inspiring the Best in Everyone.
Join our team!
Coppice Farm Primary is a wonderful school and a great place to work, with a dedicated and passionate team and our children are at the heart of all we do. Our pupils are enthusiastic, energetic and engaged learners who enjoy coming to school and our parents and school community are supportive and positive.
A small school with a huge heart, nestled in a wonderful green area of Arnold, Coppice Farm is committed to excellence. Our school enjoys a wonderful green site with our own forest school, on site park, gardening area and our very own well-being learning bus will be open and running this summer. Inspected in June 2024, all aspects were judged as remains Good and we continue to work hard and diligently to provide the best for our pupils. An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging and focused Key Stage 2 teacher who will share our school ethos of providing excellent teaching and learning.
We are looking to appoint an excellent class teacher to join our KS2 team in September 2024. This is a full-time position (with weekly PPA) and, whilst it is not a pre-requisite, experience teaching in KS2 would be beneficial and desirable.
Depending on the successful candidate, this role may come with subject responsibility attached however, a strong ECT would be considered for this position. The post is for a September 2026 start.
What we offer:
•The opportunity to work in a diverse school where the children are eager to learn
•To be part of a happy and dedicated staff team
•To be part of an exciting new chapter under our new leadership team
•To work alongside strong and talented support staff.
•To be supported by a committed governing body.
About The Role
•We are looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who will bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom in order to inspire and motivate pupils from September 2026.
•To work collaboratively and successfully as a classroom teacher as part of our KS2 team
•This is a full-time role with weekly PPA
•This role will require you to plan and deliver lessons, taking on responsibility for all aspects of the curriculum and all classroom responsibilities in accordance with the Teacher Standards
•To take on subject leadership (dependent on experience)
•To be responsible to the Key Stage 2 Phase Leads
•To be proactive and enthusiastic team member, offering children experiences beyond the school day.
This is a great opportunity to join a great team and to work with fabulous pupils. Whilst experience in either lower or upper key stage 2 is highly desirable, it is not essential as we are looking for the ‘right’ teacher to join our experienced and passionate team. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 would be beneficial, along with a sense of fun and a strong work ethic is essential.
