About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SHO General Surgeon to join our dynamic team on an ad-hoc locum basis across various hospitals in Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse surgical experience in different clinical settings while enjoying the flexibility of locum work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality surgical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative care.
* Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants.
* Participate in on-call rotations as required.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
* Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Medical degree and full GMC registration.
* Completion of Foundation Training (F1/F2) or equivalent.
* Previous experience in general surgery is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends and nights.
