The Role As a Senior Counsellor/Counsellor you will lead/work as a key member of the specialist team providing a high standard of counselling, including: Tailored counselling approaches to meet the unique emotional and psychological needs of our clients. Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and confidentiality. Work as part of a team ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and group counselling to patients, carers, families including children. Provide clinical supervision to counsellors, volunteers and trainees, ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to offer holistic care. Contribute to the development and evaluation of our psychological services, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our community. About You You will: Be a Qualified Counsellor Have an accredited membership, or working towards, of BACP, UKCP or BPS or equivalent/ RMN. Be a compassionate and empathic individual with a genuine commitment to improving the quality of care of your clients. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues, patients and their loved ones.
