Job Description
My client based in Worcester is looking to recruit a Toolmaker on a Permanent basis as the business continues to grow.
The main responsibilities associated with the role include
* Using milling machines, grinders and lathe
* Work to Engineering drawings
* Build/fit/assemble/polish tooling and dies using hand tools and equipment
* use CMM to check tooling, jogs and fixtures within tolerance
* Work in responsible manner in terms of Health and Safety
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
* Skilled, time-serves toolmaker
* Trained in the use of all toolroom machinery and hand tools
* Experience working with tight tolerances with all materials
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Ability to use a wide range of measuring equipment
* Ability to get on with people at all levels
* Excellent communication skills
The hours for this role are Mon-Fri 0800-1630 and the salary is up to £40,000
