Overview
User Experience Designer role at Motorola Solutions. This role is primarily remote but requires attending our Glasgow office for team days a couple of times per month. Occasional visits to other UK Motorola development sites or customer sites may be required.
Responsibilities
* Work with product managers and dev leads to define product strategy, requirements, priorities, and schedule.
* Collaborate with the global UX team to review concepts, evolve processes, and ensure consistency across the company.
* Work closely with experienced researchers to understand user needs and conduct usability testing.
* Create the “North Star” experience vision for our suite of applications to inspire stakeholders.
* Leverage industry best practices and tools to create wireframes, flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
Basic Requirements
* Experience as a professional interaction, product, or user experience designer with a proven track record of practical work experience, and delivering comprehensive and intuitive end-to-end solutions.
* Strong ability to articulate reasons behind design decisions to stakeholders, customers, and the engineering team.
* Passion for research-fuelled rapid ideation.
* Self-starter with a strong desire for team collaboration.
* Experience mentoring junior team members.
* Experience with Figma.
* Security clearance: ability to attain SC and NPPV3 clearances to be eligible for this role.
