Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare. Day to day duties of the role Providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a range of subjects, including filmmaking, video editing, camera operating, journalism, audience theory, pre-production processes, creative writing and the development of Maths and English. Tutoring a group of students, showing sensitivity to their needs, and supporting personal development, behaviour, and welfare to the highest possible standards. Assisting and working with students towards successful completion of Work Experience and Industry Placement. Having an interest in new and emerging techniques and technology for Film and Media production. Required skills and qualifications Degree-level or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work. Working knowledge of Media Production practical techniques and theoretical knowledge. Knowledge and practical skills in Video Editing on FCP X or Adobe Premier. Computer literacy on dual platform PC and MAC.
