We have an opportunity for a part time Coordinator with the Torbay Safeguarding Children Partnership.
This exciting post will involve working with agencies across Torbay and the wider peninsula area. As such, there will be a huge variety in terms of duties to be undertaken and knowledge gained from within a forward-thinking and highly supportive team.
You will be expected to manage your own workload within the requirements of the partnership and ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of children’s safeguarding and have good administrative skills, including IT, minute taking, diary management and general office administration.
A sound knowledge of Microsoft applications would be an advantage. In addition to this, the candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise work, be organised and committed to providing an excellent service in a challenging and fast paced environment.

The preferred working pattern will be Tuesday 09:30am -1:00pm, Wednesday to Friday 09:30am – 2:30pm, but can be negotiated. Successful candidates will be offered a full training package.
This post will be carrying out Regulated Activity. As such the post will require an Enhanced Criminal Record Check plus an additional Barred List Check. The check will reveal any spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions (which have not been filtered), any local Police information and a check of either the Adult, Child or Adult and Child Barred Lists.

* Educated to GCSE O Level standard or equivalent.
* Experience of working with statutory organisations.
* Experience of financial processes.
