This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are: - 6am - till finish Your Time at Work As an Abattoir Operative, you will join either the butchery or abattoir team in Pork or Beef Departments and your tasks will mainly involve: - Working on paceline or slaughter line with the use of knives and other equipment - Performing skilled tasks which include cutting, deboning meat/slaughter, and dressing carcasses to the required specification - Undertaking manual handling tasks, using equipment or machinery when required - Ensuring the quality of the product is to the required specification and that Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are followed at all times Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be a reliable team player with excellent attention to detail, who is keen to learn and develop new skills. Applicants will be physically fit to be able to perform all the tasks as the job requires standing, cutting and lifting.
