Finance Assistant Department: Property and Placemaking Section: Business Services Salary: Grade 5, £33,060 - £35,421 Full-time, Permanent (Open to Job Share) Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week Role Overview Queens Cross Housing Association is an award-winning social landlord based in the northwest of Glasgow. Recognised for its innovation, quality services and high performance, Queens Cross Housing Association is looking to appoint a skilled Finance Assistant within our Business Services team. Key Responsibilities Maintain purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing Process invoices, payments and reconciliations, resolving supplier and customer queries Carry out bank and account reconciliations, identifying and correcting discrepancies Support budgeting, monthly reporting and year-end accounts preparation Assist with audit requirements, including preparation of schedules and documentation Provide financial support to subsidiary companies and assist with customer and stakeholder enquiries. Essential Criteria HND in Finance & Accounting or a recognised bookkeeping qualification Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance role, including ledger management Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems Excellent numerical skills with a good understanding of financial processes High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
