Account Manager Job
We're looking for an experienced Venue Sourcing Account Manager to join a growing team in the UK. If you're passionate about venues, travel, and building strong client relationships, this role offers the perfect mix of creativity, strategy, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Researching and sourcing venues to match a variety of client briefs
* Building strong relationships with clients and venue partners
* Leading site visits and contributing to pitches and proposals
* Negotiating great rates and ensuring financial targets are met
* Writing accurate, engaging, and tailored proposals
* Managing timelines, budgets, and multiple projects at once
* Supporting new business and account growth
* Line-managing and mentoring junior team members
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in venue finding, ideally within an agency setting
* Strong knowledge of UK and international venues
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Great time management and attention to detail
* Confident using venue sourcing platforms like BookIt or The Hive
* A friendly, proactive, and adaptable attitude
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (office is in a rural location)
