Mechanical Focus Engineer
Salary: £51,354 - £51,534 + overtime (OTE £70k+)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start/finish)
Benefits: 25 days holiday, matched pension (4.5%), death in service cover, sick pay after 6 months
The Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Focus Engineer to take ownership of key machinery within a high-speed, modern production facility. You will be accountable for three core assets, ensuring they run at peak performance through preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and ensure asset reliability.
* Diagnose faults quickly, completing root cause analysis and implementing lasting solutions.
* Plan and track maintenance tasks using a CMMS system (Maximo).
* Manage spare parts, contractors, and maintenance schedules for assigned machinery.
* Support shift engineers with guidance and planned work.
* Participate in project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with compliance requirements.
About You
* Strong mechanical background (bearings, belts, pneumatics, turning).
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering.
* Experienced in fast-paced industries such as manufacturing, FMCG, print, automotive, or forces.
* Confident with root cause analysis and problem solving.
