Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, based in Havant. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, vehicle allowance, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
1. Assist with tender bids, quotations, and contract documentation.
2. Review contracts, identify risks, and support the bid team.
3. Provide commercial support, including quantity surveying and financial forecasting.
4. Obtain quotes for sub-contracts and materials within budget.
5. Foster collaboration across teams and ensure project success.
6. Maintain accurate records and assist with material quantification.
7. Support new contract mobilization and key commercial tasks.
8. Promote best practices and innovation.
9. Monitor project costs, progress, and quality.
10. Lead and empower direct reports to align with company priorities.
11. Represent Liberty externally and ensure policy compliance.
12. Lead risk management for the Commercial and H&C business units.
13. Be accountable for operational and financial performance of the units.
Ideal Candidate
1. Good educational background (e.g., GCSEs in Maths and English).
2. Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations (Desirable).
3. Relevant degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying or Construction Management) (Desirable).
4. Member of RICS or similar professional body.
5. CSCS card (Desirable).
6. Experience in social housing (Desirable).
7. Leadership and team management experience.
8. Budget management, business planning, and performance reporting skills.
9. Proficiency in report writing and presenting (CVR).
10. Experience with computerised databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Strong communication skills.
12. Ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
13. Analytical skills and sound decision-making abilities.
14. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and numerically strong.
15. Commitment to high-quality customer service.
16. Motivational leadership in a changing environment.
17. Flexible and adaptable work approach.
18. Valid driving license.
