Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Associate Consultant to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) teams with research activities spanning across several adjacent areas: Payer / HTA (Health Technology Assessment) and pricing analysis, clinical guidelines, targeted and systematic literature reviews, and value dossier development.
Position Responsibilities
* Perform Payer / HTA analysis, extracting key insights from prior HTA reports across markets and archetypes (focus on Europe, Canada, other HTA‑oriented countries) to inform initial hypothesis and recommendations.
* Conduct US payer analysis, understand US payer nuances (e.g., payer prior authorization and tiering), and related access considerations; track ASP & WAC price; extract key utilization management criteria from payer policies.
* Identify must‑have versus nice‑to‑have evidence in manufacturers’ payer / HTA submissions.
* Execute pricing analyses across geographies and account for diverse pricing build‑ups.
* Review clinical guidelines and literature to inform treatment practices, evolution of clinical algorithms, and payer comparator requirements.
* Use research and review findings to lay the foundation for value dossier development.
* Review and analyze previous value dossiers, develop draft value frameworks, and adapt them at the regional and local level.
* Assist in the development of primary research documents with relevant payer authorities and help the team execute programs accordingly.
* Translate findings into slides; support development of final recommendations to the client.
* Develop logical, clear, and visually impactful communication materials.
* Provide engagement support and team management.
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement; major in health sciences, Economics, HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research), and/or demonstrated interest in life sciences is a plus.
* 1+ years of research experience in consulting, research organizations or related fields.
* Knowledge and understanding of pricing and access systems and HTAs (Health Technology Assessment) in Europe, USA, and developing countries.
* Working knowledge of essential consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
* Good analytical skills and numeric capability.
* Ability to understand, interpret and communicate scientific content.
* Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
* Proficiency in PubMed / Medline, Google Scholar, and research platforms to source reimbursement and HTA data.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* General understanding of systematic review methods, clinical research design, and applicable standards and regulations for clinical trials.
* High attention to detail with superior organizational and time‑management skills.
* Strong team player; ability to work with cross‑functional staff.
* Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
