An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Officer/Coordinator to join a well-established housing provider on a temporary basis until the end of March. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of property maintenance within the social housing sector.
Your new role
1. Act as the first point of contact for all reactive and planned maintenance enquiries.
2. Log, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance works with contractors
3. Monitor ongoing jobs, ensuring timelypletion and high quality standards
4. Update and maintain internal systems and databases
5. Assist withpliance tasks, record keeping, and general housing maintenance administration
6. The successful candidate will also administer cyclical and planned major repairs and void works, as well as manage landlord safety to ensure tenants’ homes are well maintained and safe.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Previous experience in maintenance coordination role
8. Strongmunication and customer service skills
9. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
10. Confident using housing or repairs management systems
11. Available for a temporary contract and able to start quickly
