Job Information

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to manage Education PFI Projects in the Northwest Region. The successful applicant will have full leadership and financial responsibility with primary focus of operational and commercial compliance.

You will lead, develop, manage, and motivate a support services team to the agreed standards ensuring that the client receives services of the highest quality and support the Regional Account Manager in the development of the business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs.

Responsibilities

1. Build long term and sustainable customer relationships whilst maintaining the highest standards of presentation, personal integrity and customer support.
2. Identify organic growth opportunities through innovation and new initiatives.
3. Seeks new ways to drive revenue and grow the account.
4. Ensure the contract is performing within the agreed PFI contractual KPI's and SLA's.
5. Ensure that the client receives services within the contractual terms, ensuring these are delivered in a cost-effective way.
6. Management of people to include development and succession planning within the contract to ensure opportunities are created and key personnel are retained.
7. Ensure that the budget is adhered to and all levels of expenditure are within the set account targets.
8. Work closely with the onsite team to ensure that cost data is current, benchmarks are in place and efficiency drives enhance the performance capability.
9. Liaise and support key internal and external stakeholders.
10. Ensure high standards are maintained to include compliance to standards, health and safety particularly statutory compliance across all services lines.
11. Support the FM Operations team in identifying risks. Demonstrate ownership to ensure that the risks are mitigated and actioned as appropriate by appointed and competent persons.
12. To develop and implement an effective asset maintenance and lifecycle programme.
13. To deliver an effective KPI audit regime.
14. Project Management of additional and lifecycle works, ensuring compliance within the contract and governance arrangements.
15. Ensure full understanding of any changes and development in legislation and working practices that may affect the company's operations and/or present new opportunities.
16. Full P&L responsibility, maintain accurate monthly control of accrued income, Debt, profit and cash, taking proactive action in each area as required.
17. Ensure forecasting is accurate and in line with company expectations.
18. Full contractor management, ensuring compliance with internal and client protocols.
19. Ensure the contract complies with the integrated management system - Quality, Health and Safety and Environment (QHSE) and processes and procedures are developed, approved and routinely audit.Must undertake an enhanced DBS

What we are looking for

20. Exceptional leadership and people management skills, experienced in leading multi discipline team.
21. Proven track record in total facilities management in a PFI environment.
22. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage P&L accounts.
23. Good negotiation skills at a senior level.
24. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
25. Task focused as well as people centred.
26. Strong sense of urgency and desire to succeed.
27. Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information.
28. Achieve set, standards and operate to the performance criteria.
29. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
30. Must have a minimum of two years' experience in managing hard and soft services.
31. Suitable professional qualification or thorough experience in similar role.
32. NEBOSH Health and Safety quantification.
33. Highly IT literate in the MS Office suite.
