Role details
* Role: Full-time Special Needs Teacher to lead a class of students with complex needs (Autism & ADHD) at a specialist school in Oldham
* Start: ASAP in September 2025
* Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm
* Contract: Long-term, potential to go permanent
* Pay: £160-£230/day DOE (Paid PAYE only, no umbrella companies!)
* Equal Pay: Matched to perm staff after 13 weeks

What You'll Be Doing
* Teaching a small group of students aged 11-16 with Autism, ADHD & sensory needs
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
* Supporting emotional regulation, communication & independence
* Collaborating with support staff, therapists, families & external agencies
* Using positive behaviour support strategies
* Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reviews
* Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times

What You'll Need
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* CV with 10-year work history
* Right to Work, ID & proof of address
* DBS on Update Service (or willing to get one)
* Professional references covering the last 2 years
* Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
* Experience teaching children with SEN
* Positivity, reliability, empathy & dedication
