Computer literate with word processing experience and Audio Typing skills
Scanning/Shredding/photocopying.
Uploading of documentation to internal hospital systems.
Ensuring flow of communication within the department.
Post Holder will be required to liaise with all levels of staff.
Ensure that the telephone is always attended during normal working hours, if only with a message facility in the absence of the post holder and relay message appropriately.
Responsible for the safe transportation of patient notes in and out of the department.
To provide a multi-skilled administrative service to the Medical Secretaries to enable the service to run efficiently.

Essential criteria
1. English and Maths to GCSE or Equivalent
2. Ability to Audio-type

3. Academic Qualification in Admin
4. ECDL
Experience

5. Experience of working with members of the public
6. Administration e.g. data inputting, MS Office pacakages
Desirable criteria
7. Experience in Hospital IT systems
8. Experience of working in a Health Care Organisation
