The role will involve covering lessons during PPA time and supporting the pastoral team. You will need to be a strong communicator, good team player and interested in innovative approaches to learning and teaching. The successful candidate will have: Experience of delivering whole class lessons Have a good knowledge around behaviour and have an understanding of SEMH and SEN needs. Uncompromisingly high expectations of themselves and all children and be able to engage children in fun and interesting ways Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding Understanding of the behavioural needs of children with ASC and how to adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs Strong interpersonal skills A positive ‘can do’ attitude and nurturing nature Hold Level 2 qualifications as a minimum.
