We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Pershore.
Hours of work are: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday/ 7am-12pm Friday
Pay rate: £14 - £15 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Your duties as a Welder/Fabricator will include:
* Manufacture a wide range of steel and aluminium fabrications.
* Perform MIG welding on structural and tubular steel assemblies.
* Carry out fitting and assembly work where required
* Work independently from engineering drawings.
* Use workshop equipment such as:
o Guillotines
o Press-brakes
o Metal cutting tools
o Saws and other fabrication machinery
* Follow good workshop practices and contribute to a safe working environment.
To be successful in the role of Welder/Fabricator, you will need:
1. Strong MIG welding ability.
2. Competent in reading and working from technical drawings.
3. Good general workshop knowledge and practices.
4. Experience in steel fabrication or engineering service/maintenance.
5. TIG welding ability (advantage but not essential).
6. Health & Safety awareness in an engineering workshop setting.
7. Ability to work with steel and aluminium materials confidently.
8. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings....
