We are looking for a Senior Buyer to support value delivery to the business through strategic procurement and execution of core P2P processes, including cost reduction, supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and ESG enablement.

You will be accountable for:
* Category management: Learn and be able to lead (with support) EVRi’s 5-step category management process for IT spend areas. With direction from procurement leadership, be accountable for delivering cost reduction and cash flow benefits for IT spend areas. Develop and influence strategies to improve Total Cost of Ownership, quality, service levels, ESG impact, CAPEX, cash flow, and cost savings within specific IT categories. Build expertise in specific categories, including commercial models, supply markets, and purchasing dynamics.
* Analysis: Lead critical commercial analyses for categories under management, including baseline development, validation with finance, RFP bid analysis, and savings calculations. Communicate analysis outputs and interpret what they mean for the business or procurement decisions.
* Negotiation & Contracting: Collaborate with procurement leadership to develop negotiation strategies for key suppliers. Lead contract negotiations and management for various procurement activities with senior management support. Apply standard contract terms and negotiate as needed.
* Contract & Supplier Management: Monitor in-contract performance of key suppliers, manage cost variations with finance, and serve as the escalation point for supplier performance issues.
* Stakeholder Management: Work closely with and influence senior managers and department heads, building strong relationships and managing expectations in line with procurement policies. Contribute to policy development.
* Project Management: Develop work plans and timelines for savings or improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery within deadlines, including stakeholder engagement for contract approval and savings realization.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, STEM) is advantageous.
* CIPS Level 2/3 (or working towards) is advantageous.
* 2-3 years’ experience as a Buyer or in a similar commercial role.
* Strong financial awareness, experience working within and influencing budgets and cash flow.
* Knowledge of commercial levers influencing procurement spend.
* A results-driven mindset in a professional or operational environment.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
* Understanding of financial accounting principles related to cash flow, savings, and OPEX/CAPEX.
* Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
* Experience in logistics or retail industries is a plus.
