We’re working with a long-established precision engineering business that is looking to bring a skilled Manual Miller & Turner into their growing team. Based primarily in Hemel Hempstead, you will also be required to work from their Aylesbury site when needed – flexibility is key.
🛠️ The Role:
* Operating manual milling machines and lathes
* Producing precision-engineered components to technical drawings
* Working with a range of materials including mild steel, stainless, and aluminium
* Maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the machining process
* Occasionally assisting with other workshop duties as required
✅ Requirements:
* Proven experience with manual milling and turning
* Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Ability to work independently and to tight tolerances
* Willingness to travel between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury
* Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
🚗 A driving licence and own transport would be advantageous due to the split-site nature of the role.
