About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining classroom order during teacher absences. This role plays a vital part in ensuring continuity in students' education and provides an excellent stepping stone into teaching.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
Ensure students remain on task and follow the provided lesson materials.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and conduct.
Support students in understanding the assigned work and encourage participation.
Cover Supervisor (CS) Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working with young people in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead confidently.
