We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative (Plumbing) to join our team, primarily based out of our Blackburn site, with travel across multiple sites (covering routes between Yorkshire and South Cumbria/Morecambe)
1. £32,000 per annum
2. 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00
3. NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing required
4. Standard DBS is required
5. Full driving licence required (mobile role)
6. On call allowance + Van and tools provided.
7. On-call rota: 1 in 6 Friday 4:30pm to the following Friday morning
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality reactive and planned maintenance across a healthcare estate.
Key Responsibilities
8. This role will deliver a full plumbing maintenance service within NHS Property Services premises, including:
9. Completing general plumbing maintenance tasks
10. Undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
11. Responding to reactive plumbing repairs as required
12. Support with general fabric maintenance tasks (e.g. minor repairs, fixtures, fittings)
13. Ensuring compliance with health and safety, statutory requirements, and internal procedures
14. Participate in the on-call rota
15. Working collaboratively with the wider Estates & Facilities team
What We’re Looking For
16. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
17. Experience in commercial maintenance, ideally within healthcare.
