ABOUT THE ROLE In the role of Assistant Director of Finance, your key focus will be to: • to establish the internal control and process with the new restaurant partnership. • review and initiate structured feedback on all monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash flow, and deliver one-to-one meetings with the relevant departments. • to evaluate the flow of all financial data (Accounts Payable & Receivable, Expenses), recommend changes and implement new systems to improve control and process. • complete, evaluate and submit capital expense purchase orders according to hotel policy, including completing any ROI documents that may be required. • to deputise for the Finance Manager in their absence and assist in their workflow. • to have a lead role in all budgeting and forecasting activities, weekly, monthly and annually. ABOUT YOU • demonstrated experience in leading and managing departmental operations effectively. • ability to deputise for the Director of Finance and Finance Manager as required. • proven capacity to work collaboratively across teams and participate in a wide range of meetings. • strong ability to operate independently while maintaining alignment with organisational goals. • excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
