Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Illustrator to join the Medical Illustration team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust on a 10-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality Medical Illustration service, supporting clinical photography, graphic design, and video production across the Trust. The role involves undertaking clinical photography of patients in a variety of settings, including the studio, wards, and other clinical environments, ensuring patient dignity, consent, and confidentiality are maintained at all times. In addition, the post holder will produce graphic design and video content to support patient care, research, education, and corporate communications. The team currently consists of a Medical Illustration Manager and a Band 5 Medical Illustrator. The successful candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, adapting to the needs of the service. The main base will be the Medical Illustration Department at Frimley Park Hospital, with regular travel required to Farnham Hospital.
