We're looking for a professional with an eye for detail and an ability to prioritize tasks, and we need someone who can provide administrative support to the department. The successful candidate will need to be available daily during business hours, have a desire to build business relationships both internally and externally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone who has exceptional communication skills and can use their initiative to solve problems.
The rota pattern for this part-time 28 hours per week role is currently as follows:
Monday 08:00am - 6:30pm = 10 hours
Tuesday 10:00am - 6:30pm = 8 hours
Wednesday Day off
Thursday Day off
Friday 8:00am - 6:30pm = 10 hours
The above rota maybe subject to change.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment and e-consultation system.
* Manning reception on a rota basic.
* Taking telephone requests for appointments.
* Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately.
* Signpost patients to the correct service.
* Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies.
* Basic read coding on SystmOnline.
* Photocopy documentation as required.
* Provide administrative support for the GPs and Nurses.
* Aiding with the Prescribing clerks when needed.
* Registering patients.
* Aiding with the filing of patient records and the pulling of deductions.
