Job Description:
An award-winning, top AJ100 practice has a vacancy for a Senior Urban Designer in their prestigious Warrington studio. The practice specializes in residential and mixed-use developments, creating urban and suburban projects, new neighborhoods, and settlements at both outline planning and detailed design stages.
The successful candidate will lead high-profile visioning and masterplanning projects, including urban extensions, large-scale residential neighborhoods, and garden villages across the UK. They should have extensive experience in urban design, particularly in large-scale residential projects, and be capable of guiding projects from vision development through to detailed layouts, with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity.
This senior role involves team leadership and community engagement. An architectural background or appreciation is advantageous.
