Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance Distribution
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading specialist insurer and reinsurer, a multinational insurance company, on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in August.
The Senior Legal Counsel will have significant experience in insurance distribution and will be responsible for:
* Advising on insurance distribution of products
* Advising on insurance distribution structures and channels
* Handling issues and disputes, including exits
* Providing risk management advice and proposing insurance products
The ideal candidate will:
* Be qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales
* Have insurance experience within a commercial or specialty insurer
* Have substantial experience in insurance distribution
This role offers the opportunity to join a leading insurer in London, with potential for transition to a permanent position. The role is office-based two days a week with three days remote, offering a hybrid working environment in a central location.
