Who we are looking for:
* A qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse (or on track to register)
* Professional, reliable and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
* A strong focus on delivering outstanding patient care
* Experience in orthodontics is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided
Overseas-qualified dentists (BDS) currently based in the UK who are seeking sponsorship and a pathway to develop their careers within dental nursing/orthodontics are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

Duties
* Conduct comprehensive oral health examinations, including teeth, gums, and soft tissues
* Diagnose dental conditions using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools such as X-rays
* Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients, including restorative and preventive care
* Perform routine dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic procedures
* Provide emergency dental care for conditions such as severe toothache, trauma, infections, and oral bleeding
* Manage and maintain accurate patient dental records and histories
* Prescribe medications as needed for dental conditions and emergencies
* Perform patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
* Work collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, and other members of the dental team
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, infection prevention, and control measures
* Participate in a rota for 24-hour emergency dental care, including evening, night, and weekend shifts
* Provide on-call support for urgent cases outside normal working hours
* Manage dental emergencies efficiently, prioritizing patient comfort and safety
* Stay updated with dental advances, guidelines, and continuing professional development
* Ensure adherence to General Dental Council (GDC) standards and ethical practice
* Overseas orthodontists have significant opportunities and are prioritized for recruitment.
Requirements
* Qualified Dentist with relevant certifications.
* Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
* Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management.
* Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not essential.
