Temporary Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 6) Location: Primary School just outside Scarborough Contract: Temporary / Supply Working Pattern: 2 days per week February - July 2026 Immediate Start! We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school just outside Scarborough for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach Year 6 on a temporary, two-days-per-week basis. This role would suit a confident and committed teacher who enjoys supporting pupils in upper KS2 and helping them prepare for the transition to secondary school. The Role: Teaching a Year 6 class for two days per week Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum Supporting pupils with SATs preparation where appropriate Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 Strong behaviour management and organisational skills A flexible, reliable, and professional approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work With Us?
