Offer description

Reporting to the Director of Business Solutions, you will lead and help scale a high-performing telemarketing function that generates qualified leads, meetings, and pipeline for the business. You will own the end‑to‑end operating model—people, process, data, tech, and compliance—ensuring targeted outreach, excellent call quality, and measurable commercial impact while adhering to UK regulatory requirements .


Key Responsibilities

* Help define and shape the outbound telemarketing strategy (vertical prioritisation, list strategy, contact cadences, and KPIs)
* Build quarterly campaign plans aligned to business goals, capacity, and seasonality
* Work with CRM and Data Manager to set contact governance for data: segmentation, deduplication, enrichment, suppression, and consent management
* Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Pillar leads to ensure message market fit and seamless handover to Development and Account Executives.


Operational Excellence

* Design and continuously improve the operating model: call workflows, talk tracks, objection handling, and QA.
* Establish cadences (call/email/LinkedIn) and ensure consistent execution across the team
* Own capacity planning and forecasting to hit weekly and monthly targets
* Work alongside CRM and Data Manager to ensure accurate CRM hygiene, activity logs, lead status, disposition codes, next steps and booked meetings
* Maintain dash-boards for team performance.


People and Leadership

* Recruit, lead, and develop Telemarketers, embedding a performance culture
* Set targets, run daily huddles, pipeline reviews, and skill clinics
* Set KPIs for pipeline and conversion, productivity and quality
* Ensure your team has timely scorecard reviews
* Create clear career paths (and training plans (product, compliance, sales skills).


Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

* Uphold regulatory standards at all times, ensuring full compliance with FCA and GDPR expectations
* Ensure all calls are recorded and maintain an auditable process for consent/legitimate interests assessments and suppression lists
* Ensure the customer journey delivers positive outcomes
* Act as key escalation point for complaints, data incidents and regulatory enquiries.


Stakeholder Management

* Align with Sales leaders on qualification criteria and SLA’s for meetings/opportunities
* Work with Marketing for campaign briefs, content and attribution; close the loop on lead quality and outcomes
* Provide weekly performance readouts to senior leadership with insights and actions.

Key Qualifications and Skills


Experience

* Minimum 3 years leadership of an OBTM team in a sales/KPI-driven environment
* Experience in financial services sector preferred
* Proven experience in B2B lead generation, targeting mid‑market/enterprise
* Hands‑on experience of Salesforce
* Demonstrated success in coaching and developing teams to exceed targets and scale delivery
* Strong understanding of UK outbound compliance (PECR, UK GDPR, TPS/CTPS, suppression lists, consent/LI
