Manager / Senior Manager – Outsourced FD Services

We’re partnering with a growing firm looking to hire a Manager or Senior Manager into their expanding Outsourced FD team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of SME clients, lead relationships, and oversee the delivery of tech-enabled finance solutions.
Key responsibilities:
* Own and manage a portfolio of SME clients as the main point of contact.
* Oversee monthly finance outputs (management accounts, VAT, reconciliations, cash flow, MI).
* Lead client onboarding and ongoing engagement.
* Coordinate year-end accounts and corporation tax processes.
* Ensure accurate delivery using cloud accounting tools.
* Identify and resolve issues proactively.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team.
* Maintain workflow quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction.
* Support continuous improvement of processes and reporting.
About you:
* Experience managing SME clients in practice or outsourced finance.
* Strong technical knowledge (month-end, VAT, statutory accounts).
* Confident leading client relationships and meetings.
* Proven team leadership or mentoring experience.
* Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
* Experience with tools such as Xero, Fathom, or Dext.
