Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver exceptional care in the children’s residential home in Peterborough.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and exceeding key performance indicators.
* Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safeguarding policies and legislation.
* Collaborate with external agencies and families to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
* Ensure staff are trained and supported to deliver high-quality care.
* Manage resources efficiently to meet the needs of the home and its residents.
Requirements
* Diploma Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
* Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience within a children’s home.
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable.
* Good knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Computer literate and highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities.
