Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Manage the home’s day-to-day running, ensuring OfSTED compliance and outstanding care. Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team committed to therapeutic, child-centred practice. Quality & Compliance: Oversee policies, safeguarding, and OfSTED inspections, targeting a minimum "Good" rating. Collaboration: Work with families, social workers, and multi-agency professionals to deliver personalised outcomes. On-Call Duty: Participate in the on-call rota to support staff and young people. Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or working towards it). 2 years’ experience managing an OfSTED-regulated children’s home (EBD/LD settings preferred). Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations (2015), safeguarding, and trauma-informed care. Proven leadership – compassionate yet decisive, with a track record of driving quality and compliance.
