We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and wellbeing of children within our facility. This role requires a compassionate leader who can manage a team effectively while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in areas such as dementia care and home care, and will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
*Duties*
* Lead and supervise a team of caregivers, ensuring they provide exceptional care to all children.
* Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of practice within the care home or nursing home setting.
* Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills in delivering quality care.
* Monitor the wellbeing of children, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
* Foster an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all children in our care.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in senior care or a related field, with a focus on dementia care preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Relevant qualifications in nursing or childcare management are essential.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing children's services is advantageous.
* A compassionate approach towards caregiving, with a commitment to improving the lives of those we serve.
