Find out more about what it's like working at DfT This role helps shape aviation safety policy within a fast‑paced legislative programme alongside the Civil Aviation Authority. It combines legislative development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, offering deep insight into the UK aviation safety system. The postholder will build strong networks across the CAA and industry, contribute to assessing proposed legislative changes, and lead effective stakeholder engagement through site visits, regular industry interaction, and coordination of the wider aviation safety engagement strategy.
