3BM is based in London and provides bespoke architectural design and town planning consultancy services to deliver high-quality building solutions, primarily in the education sector. Our overarching ethos is a focus on collaborative engagement with clients, contractors and end-users, guiding all parties with a step-by-step approach to ensure optimal results.
Responsibilities:
1. Contributing to and assisting Project Architects in the delivery of architectural projects
2. Supporting the wider architectural team across multiple projects
3. Delivering own allocated projects within the practice, under appropriate supervision
4. Assisting in the development of potential project opportunities and new work
5. Producing concept designs and contributing creative design ideas
6. Preparing high-quality visual and graphic material, including sketches, 3D visualisations, and photomontages
7. Assisting with design coordination and maintaining attention to technical and design detail
8. Communicating design issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
9. Participating in client liaison and meetings as required
10. Collaborating effectively with colleagues, consultants, and external parties
11. Engaging constructively with design critique and contributing to design discussions
12. Using REVIT, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to support design and documentation work
13. Demonstrating a proactive and organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines
14. Supporting sustainable design objectives, including net-zero carbon aspirations
15. Actively participating in knowledge sharing within the team and wider practice
16. Upholding the company’s values of respect, accountability, partnership, innovation, and professional development
17. Undertaking training, professional development, and compliance requirements (e.g. enhanced DBS certification)
Qualifications and Experience:
18. A professional degree or diploma in Architecture (RIBA Part 1 accredited)
19. An up-to-date portfolio demonstrating your ability
20. Strong concept design skills and demonstrable flair for design
21. Strong visual presentation skills – sketches, 3D Visualizations, photomontages etc.
22. Competent use of REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
23. Hold or undertake an enhanced DBS Certificate
24. Full UK Driving licence (Desirable)
