Responsibilities
- Act as the senior leader on the hangar floor, deputising for the Maintenance Manager when needed.
- Lead daily team briefs, set operational tempo and ensure compliance with Part 145 standards.
- Manage resource planning including manpower forecasting and capacity allocation to meet strict turnaround times and project milestones.
- Oversee tool control, housekeeping and safety standards across all crews.
- Serve as the technical link between the hangar floor and Part 21 Design, ensuring teams have accurate data before work begins.
- Maintain operational oversight to ensure continuous, compliant and safe facility operations.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership in managing both routine maintenance and complex modification projects.
- Confidence and presence to fully deputise for the Maintenance Manager and oversee facility operations.
- Strong production leadership skills with experience in resource planning and capacity management.
- Deep understanding of Part 145 standards and ability to enforce them effectively.
- Analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve scheduling and technical challenges.
- Experience in rotary‑wing maintenance, with a background spanning mechanical work and modifications highly desirable.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, STCs and Part 21 interfaces is advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active EASA Part 66 B1.3 (Rotary Mechanics) or B2 (Avionics) licence.
- At least 7 years of hands‑on aviation experience in rotary‑wing maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior supervisory or production management role.
- Formal training in human factors, SMS, or lean hangar practices is a plus.
