The Garw Valley Federation is seeking to appoint two highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistants to play a key role in the smooth and successful operation of our federated schools. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our pupils, staff, and community.
About the Role
The Administrative Assistant will be the first representative of our school community and the first point of contact for many parents/carers and visitors. Therefore, a warm and professional approach is essential, whilst having the ability to remain calm and organised in a busy school and Federation environment. You will work closely with the Administrative Manager to ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively.
We are looking for someone who:
- Will undertake the key role as a receptionist for visitors to the school.
- Can receive and respond effectively to incoming communication.
- Will maintain pupil attendance and lunch records.
- Will ensure administration of payments through ParentPay is undertaken.
- Is can successfully arrange transport for school visits.
- Can confidently process orders and invoices on the finance system.
- Can successfully maintain the school's inventory.
