Location: Cumbernauld, Glasgow
Salary: £25,750 - £27,295
Employment Type: Full time (35 hours), Fixed term until 28th June 2030

The Role
We are seeking a passionate individual to deliver digital communications and GIS mapping outputs supporting the Nurturing Natural Connections Project. Building on previous successes, this project aims to enhance Cumbernauld’s green spaces for people and wildlife, fostering community connections with nature.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years in a communications role. Skills should include creating high-quality digital outputs and monitoring their effectiveness for report writing. The candidate will support the Project Manager and assist with final reporting to the funder.
Main Objectives
* Nurturing Nature: Support digitisation work and volunteer recruitment.
* Natural Benefits: Manage project communications, including events, digital assets, website(s), social media, and blogs.
* Nature Counts: Create community science surveys, analyse ecological data, and report findings.
* Nature Network: Develop an interactive platform for community action, including community testing and archiving historic images.
* Media Production: Assist in creating VR and AR videos to promote connection with nature.
* Wider Work: Raise awareness, support events, contribute to reports, and collaborate with other teams.
