An established organisation with an international presence, my client is seeking a proactive Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance department and purchase ledger team at their office located in Chelmsford, Essex.
Your new role
Working as part of a supportive and professional purchase ledger team, key duties will include:
- High-volume invoice processing
- Supplier query resolution
- Supplier database maintenance
- Statement reconciliations
- Multi-currency reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Adhoc purchase ledger and accounts duties
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy accounts or purchase ledger team, with strong attention to detail and confident systems skills. An ability to learn new processes and systems will be pivotal, alongside possessing confident Excel skills (experience of lookups)
What you'll get in return
1. Starting salary £29000 - £30000
2. Full-time hours - 35 per week
3. Hybrid working - 3 days office / 2 days home
