This modern facility offers dignified spaces for families, including private viewing and identification areas, ensuring a respectful and supportive experience for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. Bringing key services under one roof, the facility simplifies processes, reduces delays, and improves efficiency for families, funeral directors, healthcare professionals, and other essential services. It also features advanced post-mortem capabilities, including a CT scanner for remote examination, setting a new standard in service delivery. We are now looking for an experienced Radiographer to join the new service., You will manage and develop the Post-Mortem Imaging Service delivered by The County Mortuary using Post-Mortem Computerised Tomography (PMCT) with radiological reporting via a Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS). You will ensure adherence to relevant legislation and regulations and will be designated as a Radiation Protection Supervisor as defined in the IRR17., You Will Be Experienced In a Wide Range Of CT Procedures And Have An Awareness Of Post-Mortem Imaging Applicable To Non-suspicious, Suspicious And Traumatic Deaths DCR/BSc in Radiography qualified Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations Adaptable and flexible to meet service demand Adept and sensitive communicator You thrive in a culture built on Trust, High Performance, Respect, Innovation, Value, and Empowerment, and are ready to lead a service that truly makes a difference.
